Biography
Roman Surzhenko was born in 1972 in Taganrog, Russia. He then worked briefly with publisher Soleil before joining Le Lombard in 2011, illustrating Louve, a spin-off series based on the legendary Thorgal. Alongside author Yann, Surzhenko would go on to illustrate two other Worlds of Thorgal series, La Jeunesse de Thorgal (Le Lombard, Thorgal: The Young Years, Europe Comics 2017) and Kriss de Valnor.
